Refund policy
Last updated:
This policy explains how to cancel the Pro subscription, how to request a refund and when we help you directly.
In short
Yutemi does not sell physical products, so there are no shipping returns. The only thing you can buy is the Pro subscription, and it is charged by the App Store or Google Play. That is why refunds are decided and paid by the store, under its own rules. Here we explain how to request one, and if the store refers you to us or something goes wrong, we help you.
What you buy
- Pro monthly: USD 4.99 a month. Pro annual: USD 29.99 a year. These are reference prices: the store shows you the final price in your currency before you buy.
- The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it.
- The annual plan may include a 7-day free trial for people who have not used it before. The store asks for a payment method and we remind you before it ends. If you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, you are not charged anything.
Cancelling is not the same as requesting a refund
Cancelling stops future renewals: you keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for, and then your account goes back to Free without deleting anything. Cancelling does not give back the money for the current period; for that you need to request a refund. How to cancel, step by step, is in Support. Deleting your account does not cancel the subscription.
If you bought on the App Store (iPhone)
- Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID.
- Tap "I'd like to" and choose "Request a refund".
- Choose the reason, select the Yutemi purchase and submit the request.
Apple reviews each request and tells you its decision. We cannot approve or issue refunds for purchases made on the App Store.
If you bought on Google Play (Android)
- Within the first 48 hours after the charge you can request a refund directly from Google, from your Google Play order history. The rules are in the Google Play help.
- After 48 hours, Google tells you to contact the developer: write to us (see How to ask us for help) and we will review your case.
When we review your case ourselves
We review each case individually. For Google Play purchases we can issue the refund ourselves, and we do so if:
- you were charged twice for the same period;
- you were charged after a cancellation made in time;
- a fault on our side prevented you from using Pro and we could not fix it.
For App Store purchases only Apple can issue refunds, but if you are in one of these cases we will give you in writing whatever you need for your request.
If you paid and do not see Pro, first try "Restore purchases" (see I paid for Pro but don't see it): it usually fixes it right away.
How to ask us for help
Write to support@yutemi.app with the subject "Refund" and include your account email, the store where you bought, the date of the charge, the order number shown on the store receipt and what happened. We reply within 3 business days. If the refund is approved, the store returns it to the same payment method, within the store's and your bank's timeframes.
Your rights as a consumer
Nothing in this policy limits the rights the law of your country gives you. For example:
- In the European Union and the United Kingdom you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance purchases. For digital content this right may be lost once you start using it with your express consent, under the conditions the store shows when you buy.
- In Colombia, the Consumer Statute (Law 1480 of 2011) provides a 5-business-day right of withdrawal for distance sales, with the exceptions set by law.
Since the store makes the charge, these rights are exercised with the store. If you need help doing so, write to us.
What happens to your account after a refund
When the store approves a refund, it removes access to Pro. Your account goes back to Free and nothing you created is deleted: everything stays visible and editable, and while you are over a Free plan limit you just cannot create new items of that type.
